1st Day Of College

Today will be my first day back to school in 3 years. I'm now enrolled in Prince George's Community College {PGCC} Located in Maryland.  I'm extremely excited!! I've been so stressed out about school for a while now to the point I went into a depression. I was tired of being in these 4 walls everyday. I wanted to get out there and be around people my age that have a purpose and are working towards reaching their goals, and now I'm finally doing it. 


People keep telling me their different views and opinion about college. "College is cool", "College is wack!",  "It's Not For Everyone",  "College is JUST like Highschool!", "College is tough!!"... And although their opinions matter to me, I have a chance to experience it for myself. Who knows, I might agree with some of them, or have a completely different veiw, We'll just have to see.

So here's the deal... I sort of have a "dilemma." I'm striving to make a change in my life && I'm really contemplating on getting baptized. Getting baptized is a huge decision that only you can make for yourself && Im really taking it serious. The thing is everytime I start thinking about baptism, Satan starts throwing things in my head like "You know you're still gonna party, drink && smoke after you get baptized so whats the point?". Behind The "G Walls"

Today I received a letter from a friend back home who's been  locked up (Ricker's Island) going on 4 years. We've been talking back and forth for a while but I fell off. I guess I got caught up in my new life, I forgot about the people in my old one. He says he wrote me 4 months ago and I never replied, but he understands. From the way he talks now, I can tell that he's matured and he's trying to be a better person and live a positive life style. But he's coming out soon and he's already talking about making fast money again and it bothers me because there's no legal way to make fast money in the hood. I'm responding to him in a  letter tonight, but this time I want to write a letter that's going to make him think about bettering himself completely in every area of his life. So I'm going to take my time, pray about it, and let the words flow. Hope what ever I write has a great,impact on his life.

Love Education

Instead of "Sex Education", they should've taught "Love Education". Ya'll complain about our generation and how corrupt it is, but if half of us were taught how to love ourselves, we wouldn't be so messed up like we are now.
